Meet Our Staff
Dr. Nathan Vitaro joined the LifeGuard Clinic in April 2010 to serve as Medical Director. He offers his expertise in integrative family medicine in addition to hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Vitaro earned his medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona, one of four schools in the United States to confer four year medical degrees in naturopathic medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Vitaro was honored with the Daphne Blayden Award, a distinctive recognition of his academic achievement and commitment to naturopathic medicine.
As a naturopathic medical doctor (NMD), Dr. Vitaro is licensed as a primary care physician by the State of Arizona. Combining modern diagnostics with natural therapeutics, Dr. Vitaro provides highly individualized care designed to restore and optimize health. He enjoys working with people of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. He also has extensive experience in natural hormone replacement for both women and men, having served as a national consultant for a local compounding pharmacy specializing in customized hormone prescriptions.
Dr. Dilip Bobra joined LifeGuard in October 2007. He has practiced Anti-Aging medicine since 2003, and prior to that, Vascular Surgery for 24 years in Mesa, Arizona.
Dr. Bobra earned his medical degree from the University of Indore in India, where he also completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery. He accomplished his General Surgery Residency at North Eastern Ohio University and his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Arizona Heart Institute under Program Director Dr. Edward B. Diethrich.
Dr. Bobra is Board Certified in Anti-Aging Medicine and is a Fellow in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine. He is also a member of the International Society of Endovascular Specialists, the Edward B. Diethrich Vascular Society, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Dr. Bobra has a keen interest in the treatment of toxic metals, candida, and overall natural wellness. He also performs surgical access for dialysis patients in a separate private practice.
Sue Carroll has over 30 years of healthcare and management experience and developed LifeGuard in April of 2007. Her healthcare experience includes Vice President of Clinical Services for the Arizona Heart Hospital, Director of Patient Services for the Arizona Heart Institute and clinical experience spanning telemetry, coronary care and cardiovascular intensive care. She also served as a nurse for the Air National Guard.
Sue earned her diploma in Nursing from Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing and then pursued certification as a Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist. She later earned a Bachelor’s in Health Care Services and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Sue Carroll is a Board Certified as a Health Practitioner Diplomate in Anti-Aging Medicine and is a Fellow in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine. She is also a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
As the Executive Director of LifeGuard, Miss Carroll is responsible for the overall coordination of client activities to consistently ensure high quality personalized medicine.
